Trail Races through Wild Maine Landscapes

A coalition of six Downeast conservation organizations is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Downeast Conservation Trail Race Series. Hosted by local non-profit organizations working to conserve Downeast Maine’s natural environment, these unique races take place on community supported nature and wildlife preserves across Downeast Maine from Orland to Baring.

Runners, or walkers, should register for each race separately (see links here) and each race offers various awards and prizes.  Runners who wish to compete for Race Series awards must complete races in at least 5 of the 6 events, or 4 races and at least 4 hours of voluntary trail work with one of the hosting organizations (for complete series rules see here).  All runners who complete the series will receive a Series Finishers medallion.

All the events also need volunteers so if you’d like to help out clearing trails, or participating in the fun on race day without actually running, please contact the appropriate race organizer on that race’s page.
