Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust and the Penobscot Region chapter of the New England Mountain Biking Association (PR NEMBA) have teamed up for the following events. Please join us!

Saturday, June 22

  • Info booths at the Orland River Day Festival starting at 9:00 am
  • Grand Opening of the kid-friendly mountain bike loop at Popple Grove.
    We will celebrate with cake, prizes, a scavenger hunt, and will have
    bikes to ride at 2:00 pm! Enter the South Gate of the Great Pond
    Mountain Wildlands on Route 1.

Sunday, June 23

  • Tour and help build the new Capstone Trail. 9:00 am to noon, lunch
    served at 12:30. Park near the Dead River Trail gate on the Don Fish
    Road (about ¾ mile past the Craig Brook Fish Hatchery).
  • Wear work clothes and bring gloves, tools, training, and lunch provided!
